Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Effective Date: April 03, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of web hosting services provided by GenShift . By activating an account or using our services, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.
1. DOMAIN USAGE & CONTENT RESTRICTIONS
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Domain Name registered or hosted through our platform if the domain is used for:
Phishing/Fraud: Websites designed to steal user data or financial information.
Malware Distribution: Domains used to host or spread viruses/trojans.
Illegal Activity: Gambling, unlicensed pharmacy sites, or any content violating international laws.
Copyright Infringement: Hosting pirated content or “Nulled” scripts.
Spamming: Using the domain for mass unsolicited emailing that leads to RBL/Blacklisting.
2. EMAIL SPAM & IP REPUTATION
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for spam.
Bulk Emailing: Sending unsolicited bulk emails is strictly prohibited.
IP Blacklisting: If a user’s activity results in our server IP being blacklisted, a Mandatory Fine will be issued to cover the administrative cost of IP reputation repair and removal fees.
3. RESELLER HOSTING RESPONSIBILITIES
Resellers are responsible for the conduct of their own clients.
First Violation: If a Reseller’s client violates this policy, the specific client account will be suspended.
Second Violation/Multiple Issues: If multiple clients under a single Reseller violate these terms, or the Reseller fails to take action, the Entire Reseller Account (including all sub-accounts) will be suspended or fined.
Administrative Fine: We reserve the right to charge the Reseller for any cleanup costs or IP reputation repairs caused by their clients.
4. Permitted Content & Service Usage
A. Prohibited Content & Restricted Activities To maintain server integrity and legal compliance, the following content types and activities are strictly prohibited. Hosting any of the following will result in immediate suspension or termination:
Copyrighted & Pirated Material: Hosting or linking to “Nulled” scripts, cracked software, pirated movies, or unlicensed music.
Adult & Explicit Content: Hosting any form of pornography or adult-oriented material.
Illegal Financial Sites: Unlicensed gambling, betting, forex scams, or cryptocurrency “get-rich-quick” schemes.
Phishing & Deceptive Sites: Any page designed to impersonate another brand or steal user credentials/financial data.
Hate Speech & Harassment: Content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hatred against individuals or groups.
Storage & Archiving: Using the account as a file-sharing hub, personal cloud storage, or a remote backup repository for non-website data.
B. Content Monitoring GenShift does not actively monitor all user content; however, if a violation is detected via automated scans or third-party reports, we reserve the right to disable the infringing content or the entire account without prior notice.
5. EMAIL SPAM & BLACKLISTING
We maintain a strict anti-spam environment.
Any attempt to send bulk unsolicited emails will trigger an immediate investigation.
If our server IP is blacklisted due to a user’s activity, a fine will be issued to cover the administrative cost of removal from blacklists.
6. ABUSE INVESTIGATION & NO REFUND POLICY
Backups: Providing backups of a suspended account is not guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of GenShift (No backups for Malware/Phishing).
Refunds: If an account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of this AFUP, no refunds will be issued for any remaining service period.
7. Resource Limits & Reseller Obligations
A. Resource Thresholds (CPU, RAM, I/O, Inodes): At GenShift, we monitor server health in real-time. If your account hits the allocated limits for CPU, RAM, I/O, or Inodes, the following protocol applies:
System Notification: You will receive an initial Abuse Notice/Warning regarding the resource spike.
Required Action: You must immediately Upgrade your Plan to a higher tier to accommodate your usage.
The 24-Hour Rule: If you choose not to upgrade and wish to reduce your usage (delete files/optimize scripts), you must bring the account within allowed limits within 24 Hours.
Automatic Suspension: Failure to either upgrade or reduce usage within the 24-hour window will result in the account remaining Suspended.
B. Legacy “Unlimited Storage” Clients: We honor our long-term clients who purchased older “Unlimited” plans. However, to maintain server integrity:
Each individual cPanel account under a legacy plan is strictly capped at 30GB of Disk Space.
Exceeding this 30GB limit is considered a policy violation.
C. Enforcement for Resellers: Resellers must ensure that every sub-account (cPanel) they manage complies with these limits. If a sub-account exceeds 30GB or the Inode limit, it will be flagged.
Important: Failure to comply with these resource warnings will trigger our penalty system (including Fines and KYC requirements). To view the full penalty structure, Click Here.
8. Policy on Nulled, Cracked & Unlicensed Software
GenShift maintains a high-security environment. The use of “Nulled,” “Cracked,” or pirated WordPress themes, plugins, and scripts is strictly prohibited as they contain backdoors, malware, and security vulnerabilities that affect server stability.
1. Enforcement & Three-Strike Rule: If our automated security scanners or system administrators detect cracked/nulled content on your account, the following actions will be taken:
First Violation (Warning): A formal Abuse Report will be opened. The user must remove the unlicensed software and clean the account within 12-24 hours.
Second Violation (Fine & Suspension): If the content is not removed or is re-uploaded, the account will be suspended immediately. A Mandatory Administrative Fine will be charged to restore the service.
Third Violation (Permanent Termination): Continuous use of cracked software will result in the permanent termination of the account and all associated data without a refund.
2. Third-Party Legal Notices (DMCA/Developer Complaints): If GenShift receives an official notice or legal complaint from a developer/copyright holder regarding the use of their cracked software on your domain:
The account will be instantly suspended without a prior warning to protect the company from legal liability.
To reactivate the account, the client must:
Pay the Administrative Violation Fine.
Provide proof of purchase for the Official/Licensed version of the script, theme, or plugin.
Complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) Verification by providing government-issued ID to ensure future accountability.
3. No Liability for Data Loss: GenShift is not responsible for any data loss or website damage caused by malware embedded in cracked software. We reserve the right to delete infected files immediately to prevent the spread of viruses across the server.
9. Policy on Nulled, Cracked & Unlicensed Software
Backups: Providing backups of a suspended account is not guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of GenShift (No backups for Malware/Phishing).
Refunds: If an account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of this AFUP, no refunds will be issued for any remaining service period.
10. ENFORCEMENT PROTOCOL (Abuse Reports & Fines)

Stage 1: Official Abuse Report (Warning): A formal report will be opened in the GenShift Client Area. The user must resolve the issue within 12-24 hours.
Stage 2: Suspension & Fine: If the issue persists, the account will be suspended. A Mandatory Administrative Fine/Restoration Fee will be charged to reactivate the service.
