Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Effective Date: April 03, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of web hosting services provided by GenShift . By activating an account or using our services, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. DOMAIN USAGE & CONTENT RESTRICTIONS

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Domain Name registered or hosted through our platform if the domain is used for:

  • Phishing/Fraud: Websites designed to steal user data or financial information.

  • Malware Distribution: Domains used to host or spread viruses/trojans.

  • Illegal Activity: Gambling, unlicensed pharmacy sites, or any content violating international laws.

  • Copyright Infringement: Hosting pirated content or “Nulled” scripts.

  • Spamming: Using the domain for mass unsolicited emailing that leads to RBL/Blacklisting.

2. ABUSE INVESTIGATION & ACTION

We take every abuse report seriously. Our process includes:

  • Investigation: Upon receiving an abuse notice (Copyright, Spam, or Malware), we will investigate the claim.

  • Discretionary Backups: Providing a backup of a suspended account is not guaranteed. It depends entirely on the nature of the abuse (e.g., No backups for Malware or Phishing sites).

  • No Refund Policy: If an account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of this AUP, no refunds will be issued for any remaining service period.

3. ENFORCEMENT PROTOCOL (THREE-STRIKE RULE)

For general violations (excluding severe illegal acts which result in immediate termination):

  1. First Violation (Warning): A formal warning is issued. The user must resolve the issue within 12-24 hours.

  2. Second Violation (Fine & Suspension): The account is suspended. A Mandatory Administrative Fine will be charged to reactivate the service.

  3. Third Violation (Permanent Termination): The account and all associated data will be permanently disabled without further notice.

4. RESELLER HOSTING RESPONSIBILITIES

Resellers are responsible for the conduct of their own clients.

  • First Violation: If a Reseller’s client violates this policy, the specific client account will be suspended.

  • Second Violation/Multiple Issues: If multiple clients under a single Reseller violate these terms, or the Reseller fails to take action, the Entire Reseller Account (including all sub-accounts) will be suspended or fined.

  • Administrative Fine: We reserve the right to charge the Reseller for any cleanup costs or IP reputation repairs caused by their clients.

5. EMAIL SPAM & BLACKLISTING

We maintain a strict anti-spam environment.

  • Any attempt to send bulk unsolicited emails will trigger an immediate investigation.

  • If our server IP is blacklisted due to a user’s activity, a fine will be issued to cover the administrative cost of removal from blacklists.
